Should I try out a church ministry for college students? I have no friends and i'm wanting friends. i'm bored?

let's see i'm nearly i'm a few years shy of being 25. i never madeout with a girl or been on a date. i have no friends as of right now. i'm the guy at a university and i live on the upperclmen dorms. i hate my suitemate and he hates me. he hates me bec. i told him to clean his shi*. anyways i talk to people in the dorm lounge but ppl seem to have their friends already. theirs cliques definitely. i tried a club and i didn't like anyone there. there's this girl i like but i don't think she likes me.i can't join a frat due to requirement reasons. i drive back to my parent's house on the weekend and i have been thinking of going to this church college student organization thing. maybe i will make some friends.
