Why are some people such fun suckers?

All they do is suck away the fun from everything! Whatever happened to laughing and smiling and joking around with people? I am sick of dealing with such cynical, humorless, sarcastic people on a daily basis. How can we make the world more fun again and get some people to smile and get the fu** over themselves?
