Not to be mean...?

i'm one who believes gay people are born gay and straight people are born straight. likewise, i feel i should be consistent with this line of reasoning when it comes to all matters of ual orientation. therefore, isn't it reasonable to ume that pedophiles and other ual deviants are for the most part born the way they are? and if so, is it at all reasonable to think any of them stand any chance of rehabilitation? if rehabilitation is not possible, then how should we handle such deviants?
