Can any rat owners/breeders help?

if mum allows you to handle babies she must be really tame otherwise you would get nipped (band aid all that is required) so if so tame it is ok to clean the cage but don't go overboard as you will give the mother stress. Re wet babies odd.... could mother have got wet from water in cage.? Babies are usually kept dry , clean and warm.Remove anything wet, replace bedding . Will be ok as she is handled a lot so will be very trusting but be careful no fast movements as mums are very protective !
