I think their just being overprotective because your both at the age where you start to mature and they don't want to take any chances. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do because you've already explained you have no intentions of crossing the friendship line. But try to talk to her parents their the ones who will ultimately make the choice of who she's allowed to be around
