How can I found out a hit rock song from March 30, 1981?

I am making a CD for my boyfriends birthday. I want to find out hit rock n roll songs that fell on his birthday (March 30) since 1981 and on each March 30th all to way to this year, 2007 and put them all on a CD for him. Having trouble finding them. Rock stuff-- cause now he is into music such as the band Korn, etc.
