Have you ever reunited with someone you though you were over only to discover you still had feelings for them?

met my highschool sweetheart after not seeing him for 14+ yrs & since, cannot get him out of my head. We're both married w/kids & never thought about leaving before, but the re-connection was immediate & we're blown away 2 discover feelings for eachother still exist. Better/Worst yet, we feel for eachother things that we both admitted to never have felt before with anyone, including our spouses. A major factor here that seperates this from similar situations is we didnt break up willingly...we seperated against our will due to geographic limitations (different countries) and always got along great. We initially stayed together (long distance) for over a year but eventually grew apart and lost touch & then ironically met our spouses in the same year & married 4 years later (also in the same year...weird) Neither of us wants to hurt anyone, yet I'm wondering if I am fighting something that was meant to be. Maybe its the need for closure but after all this time what if he's my soulmate
