Could you wear this shirt un-tucked with jeans?

Usually you can wear any on down shirt with jeans, as long as the jeans are dark wash, and don't have any rips or tears. Have you ever thought of wearing vest's? They are like suit jackets without the sleeves, obviously you shouldn't pair black with brown but try looking into white and pastel colored shirts!
